Are the physicians employed by Maison Ipanema?

No. All physicians in our medical network are independent practitioners. They operate their own practices and make clinical decisions independently. Maison Ipanema facilitates referrals but has no influence over medical care.

How do referrals work?

When our clinical team identifies a need for medical evaluation, we provide information about relevant specialists in our network. The client decides whether to pursue consultation. All medical appointments are arranged directly with the physician’s practice.

Can I use my own physician instead?

Absolutely. Our network is a resource for clients who need physician recommendations. You are always welcome to work with your existing healthcare providers. We can coordinate care with any physician you choose.

Does Maison Ipanema receive referral fees?

No. Maison Ipanema does not receive financial compensation for referrals to physicians. Our network exists solely to support client care pathways.

How do you select physicians for your network?

We collaborate with physicians who share our commitment to evidence-based care, clear communication, and client-centered practice. All are licensed, board-certified specialists in their respective fields.

Will my physician have access to my therapeutic records?

Only with your explicit consent. We follow GDPR principles and require written authorization before sharing any clinical information with physicians or other providers.

Can physicians refer clients to Maison Ipanema?

Yes. We welcome referrals from physicians for therapeutic services within our scope of practice, including postoperative rehabilitation, lymphatic care, and trichology support.

What if I need emergency medical care?

For medical emergencies, always contact emergency services (112 in Belgium) or go to the nearest hospital. Maison Ipanema provides therapeutic services only and is not equipped for emergency medical care.
